Homemade potted citronella candles offer an inexpensive and bug-deterring alternative to traditional landscape lights.

Easy way to Say good bye, to bugs!

To do: for each angle, you’ll need a cachepot (or plug a standard pot with modeling clay), wax and wick material (can find in craft stores), citronella oil (at hardware store) and a pencil.  Tie the wick to the pencil and lay the pencil across the pot.  Then heat the wax using a double boiler (or set a tin can inside a saucepan containing water), add a few drops of citronella oil and pour the mixture into the pot.  Allow the wax to set, snip the wick and enjoy!
